The program prepares imaginative students for creative, business, legal, and academic careers in film and television. Students gain a comprehensive understanding of the contemporary media landscape through subject areas including Industry Practices, Producing, History, Global Movements, and Genres and Artists. The program integrates historical and cultural analysis with industry studies to cultivate creative, informed, and responsible media creators and consumers.
Film and Television graduates of Arizona go on to enjoy a wide range of careers, including directing, producing, editing, screenwriting, development, and marketing—as well as positions in non-profits and higher education.
